Hedgehog ii

Hand sculpted from crank clay and fired in an outside Raku kiln. Hedgehog no ii is decorated in a metallic copper coloured glaze and shimmers when the light catches it. His nose and face have a turquoise colour which was totally unexpected!
The spines are made from wooden sticks and hand painted. He measures 14 cm snout to tail and 8 cm high, in the last picture he is the one on the right shown here with hedgehog no i. He is signed on the bottom with my initials.
